The flight manual's great if you don't know what butons to push, but it
doesn't say dk about flying. These tips should help you out.
=== Choose Your Battles ===
The best way to survive a firefight is to be somewhere else. If someone
fires on you, think quickly and carefully about whether or not to engage. If
they're stronger, faster, or better equipped than you are then for gd's sake
RETREAT! Fly far enough and they'll stop chasing you. If however you think
you can defeat a ship unscathed, and they're carrying modules that could
make the Nemesis more spaceworthy... well, then it's time to consult your
conscience.
=== Build ===.
You'll find unattached modules from time to time, especially after a
firefight. Use these to build up the Nemesis. Girders give her form and
shielding, lasers and boosters are pretty much self explanatory. A module's
colour on the scope shows its quality, with higher quality materials
producing more advanced components. Grab the best parts you can to keep the
Nemesis strong and secure.
=== Open Your Eyes ===
This is a busy sector, so ships are constantly coming and going. Check your
scope and pay attention to COM messages to stay aware of your surroundings.
Zoom your scope out regularly so nobody surprises you.
Good luck. Keep her safe.
